The lack involvement of the Skelds with the investigation has been called into question by a higher authority in the form of Sunnhild von Brahms, who sent the following letter directly to Ricard Skeld.

"A routine investigation into the business of the Skeld family in eastern Sirria have revealed troubling things about this once great Serpentine house. The Skeld lost their manners and failed to house and entertain proper guests of the Von Brahms and Karlov lines, instead forcing the noble visitors to take up residence in a local tavern. Truly remarkable how a house of such low status would turn down gracious and hospitable guests who are there only for the Skelds best interest.

But that is not all.

It has been brought to the attention of the Von Brahms family that not only do the Skeld not conduct themselves in properly in the presence of their kin, but severely neglect their position as Golden Serpent and Magnate. Law and order has faltered to give way for dealing in dark matters.

It does not please me to write a submission such as this, but when my family name is disrespected I am left with no choice. Should the Skeld not uphold proper protocol and show respect where it is due, I am forced to reveal even further incriminating evidence that shall reveal the true depravity of the Skeld for all to see and leave the Golden Serpent no choice but to strip them of their lands and titles.
